Van Gogh Alive Digital Art Exhibition

The Turkish Pharmaceutical leader Abdi İbrahim is celebrating its 100th year by presenting the work of Vincent Van Gogh in the new, never before experienced Van Gogh Alive Digital Art Exhibit format.

Under the leadership of Abdi İbrahim, signing off on yet another innovative project in its 100th year, the synthesis of traditional art and modern technology displaying over 3,000 digital images of Van Gogh’s most famous works will be presented in Turkey for the first time since its premier in Singapore, providing art lovers with an experience above and beyond typical gallery exhibits.

The Van Gogh Alive exhibit, which reflects Abdi İbrahim’s 100 years of innovation, uses the display of images on giant screens, walls, columns, floors and even ceilings to redefine the audience’s connection with art. This exhibition heightens all the senses, using light, color and sound to challenge all preconceived notions on how an art exhibit should be.

In Van Gogh Alive, the frameless art exhibit which was created by Australian Grande Exhibitions, the famous artist’s lively and passionately detailed works from 1880-1890 are reflected through the use of 40 projectors equipped with SENSORY4 high resolution technology on giant screens, walls, columns, floors and ceilings.

Abdi İbrahim, which is building its future on a solid foundation of human resources, technological infrastructure, investments and strength derived from a well-rooted history, will be bringing art lovers together at the Van Gogh Alive Digital Art Exhibit to be held in Karaköy, Istanbul, Antrepo 3 from February 10 – May 15, 2012 and in Ankara Cer Modern between October 15 and December 30, 2012.

Exhibition is open daily expect Mondays 11.00 – 19.00. Tickets are sold on Biletix and Antrepo 3.
